So what's everyone planning on getting this year? I know once January hit I was already thinking on what to add! Ok fine. I was thinking about it before January. Anyway, newbies for me this year will be Delawares and Appenzeller Spitzhaubens. Also getting back into breeding Slate turkeys and thinking about adding Saxony ducks! What's on everyone's chick lists?

More Call Duck Hens and few more Pullets..My Hen is Due to hatch today and I have Calls hatched and more in the incubator....

I am a new chicken person so this will be my first time getting chicks. Getting Easter eggers, silver and gold laced Wyandottes. I thought about getting something that lays a really dark egg too... I'll have to see what else the feed store gets.
They tell me they gets chicks in end of February to mid March and will call me when that happens. So I'm passing the time on this site... 9.9

Just added some Lakenfelders and am contemplating lavender and chocolate
Orpingtons. The turkeys are new this year and besides Bourbon Red may also
consider Royal Palm turkey. But the Royal Palms are really just an ornamental
and exhibition bird, versus dual purpose. Its tough to get some of the rare breeds,
so that will influence what we will add;0)

Spitzhaubens, Marans (Black Copper and Blue Copper), Speckled Sussex and a Lavender Orpington, if my lovely breeder has enough she's willing to part with one.
