2019 Emu Hatch-A-Long

Pics
half way to starting my next batch for the incubator, another egg tonight. however my male has got "bruody" (how do you spell that word??) and i had to pull the egg out from under him. going away for Feb. school break and for the first time ever my emus are acting up. going to make it interesting for my emu/ incubator sitter.
"Broody" Pronounced brew-dee That's pretty cool he is feeling some type of way tho!

Hey all. I'm picking up some eggs today so I can join the fun. Emu was discussed as a down the road plan, and then I found a great price for some hatching eggs, so we are giving this a whirl. I am fondly referring to this experiement as emu-ocalypse. Question for anyone using a modified LG - how many eggs are you typically fitting in there?

Glad you joined! I’m going through threads to find some modified styrofoam incubators for emu. Depending on the size I’ve seen up to 9 in them. Also a lot of people add mason jars full of water with the lid on to help regulate the temp
