I figured since we had a hatch-a-long thread last year, we might as well have one this year too :) My emus are still too young to lay, but I've purchased some eggs that will be arriving this week so I can still do some hatching. In this thread, we can share our progress, ask for advice, and give advice to new hatchers. Who else is hatching this year?

Not hatching Emus but I’m planning on hatching some peafowl eggs with a broody Brahma hen.

I look toward to seeing how your hatch goes. Good luck :)

That'll be fun! I'm waiting for my geese to start laying so I can start in on their eggs this year. That likely won't be until March, though.

I’m almost two weeks in with my emu eggs. Glad to hear your doing it again @Pyxis! How many eggs and where are they coming from?
3, so far :) I have someone that wants three chicks so I will likely get more eggs to ensure I get at least three chicks for her.
