2019 Spring Ducklings are here!

Pics
Oh the joys of duckling messes! :gig

Can you show a better pic of the water blocker? I usually just put several rocks in the trough, spaced out so they can still drink between them, but it’s harder for them to scoop and spit it out.
Also a wash cloth or rag on their way out of the water area will help keep them from tracking so much wetness out of the area. Have to swap it often, and it gets pretty nasty, but was easier than changing out the whole brooder so often.
There you go:

I have fixed it to the waterer with little duct-tape strips and raised the waterer as recommended by @MissChick@dee. I think its working now! :fl

My DH recycles everything immediately. :barnie Today was recycling day. I have nothing. Need to go to the Dollar Tree and see what I can find. Wish you were here
All our trash goes down - i mean down 200' - into the trash can and we are both too lazy to walk down, so usually we throw the bags into the car when we go out for shopping/dinner/PT/…, quick stop at the trash can and off we go.
Plastic recycling is my wife's passion. She collects all of it, stuffs it in plastic-bags and drives it to the local recycling center whenever she finds time. So if i need some plastic stuff there's always something available.

Update on Forest: :(

She is still doing OK, eating and drinking but i had to save her several times today. Once she was boxed in behind the waterer by the other ducklings, ran over, thirsty and nobody would let her through to the water, it is so sad to see her… :(
She has gained weight again, but she is now the lightest of the White Layers with one Buff Orpington about to pass her.
Gave her some swimming time with a colleague this afternoon and it was a disaster: The little Magpie jumped out of the water and started to run over my desk, almost falling down. By the time i caught her, Forest was soaking wet and about to drown. :sick
Got them both out of the water, dried the Buffy and wrapped Forest into a wash-cloth. She enjoyed resting on my chest so much that that she fell asleep for half an hour. She was so exhausted, i could not torture her more with a hobble... Tomorrow or maybe tonight, but i have very little hope, the leg is just hanging down entirely paralyzed… :hit
