Drake her?:idunno
Daisy was a drake from my first hatching. He was the only all yellow duckling of the 8 and I was sure she was a her because that was what I wanted. Well, time marched on, then came the whisper, then the drake feather and then I couldn't seem to make myself change his name and still mix up the pronouns. He was a HE and he was a big beautiful boy....named Daisy. A peregrine falcon killed him.:hit

Duckling update, the 500 gram mark (one metric pound!) is within reach: The green ringed White Layer gained 64 grams in one single day and clocks in now at 474 grams! I weighted her twice because i could not believe it. Imagine a 237 pound person gaining 32 pounds in one day… - Here's the spreadsheet:

The ducklings will move into our garage this week, the kiddie-pool is getting too small very fast and i need to re-assemble that little chicken-house - second picture in my coop article. And even that one won't be large enough, so i need to build an extension to that too. :hmm
