This is »Spot«, the lightest of the White Layers and Magpie Blue, a light one. Two of the WL's are massive! They will get their chopped Zucchini soon and the it's weighting time!

Update on duckling progress:
First duckling is heavier than 400 grams! I bet by tomorrow we have a one-pounder!

It is more and more difficult to convince the ducklings to sit on the scale, today the help of some unlucky mealworms was required.

So it seems that “Amelia” didn’t stick as a name. She changed her name to Daisy now.

We can call her FAD for Forest/Amelia/Daisy.
She said she is doing well, getting a little better use of her leg, being loved to pieces and spoiled!.

There's a farmers market not far away from here, where people can sell their stuff without paying huge fees. There's the WV food bank…

I'm sharing this here in hopes that you might rig something similar.

Live feed of my ducklings today via YouTube (this will only be up for a few hours, I'll edit this post when I take it down) Its a bit blurry thru the side of the plastic brooder, but I couldn't rig up an overhead shot before I had to leave home.
** They sleep a lot!

** Editing to add - beware of your speaker volume due to the serama rooster in the same room with them. He likes the sound of his own voice. **
