Update on the Racoon-situation: There was a terrible accident today, in the morning a racoon had successfully entered the free-diving-school's application box:
And then there was that terrible diving accident, it all happened so fast i can't even wrap my mind around it and i lost my first student:

This was a male 'coon, so no abandoned young will die. He was aggressive in the trap, tried to scratch and bite me through the cage. Now my duckies can sleep quiet and safe!

Nay thank's! - I have eaten an awful lot of different meats, some of which is even illegal for human consumption here (horse!) but Racoon is definitely not on my list. Maybe it's because that was a male, but it stank like rotten urine; could never eat that!

I made a stupid predator joke on page 101 and got kicked in the b_tt by the universe two days later on page 102. But the duck-murderer is gone now and this night my ducks slept peacefully - and woke me up at sunrise because they wanted out…
