Hello and welcome to my chat thread 🐔👋
I’m making another one of these because the last one Went a bit silent and I was starting to talk to myself... Am I really that boring?? 😬 😂

Allow me to introduce myself.
I live in Ireland.
I have 30 chickens, 27 Brahmas, blue buff columbian, golden partridge, blue partridge and lemon Pyle are their colours, I could go through them all individually but I wouldn’t want to bore you..,1 RIR, 1 buff Orpington and 1 buff Orpington mix.
only had around 10 chickens at the beginning of last year but I became a bit of a Hatchaholic.. it was around 50 at one stage ...
The plan was to breed them but they ended up getting a respiratory illness so now I’ve decided to keep them as a closed flock. Which is kinda what I was going to do anyways because no one was buying the roosters and I just had so many.
15 ducks, the colours are magpie, Rouen, khaki and a few mixed. 10 Guineas, 2 cocker dogs, 2 rabbits 2 cats View attachment 2041209

I like to grow sunflowers every year because they are beautiful plants, they’re great for wildlife and they put a smile on everyone’s face.

wow what a great set up you have, congrats. My name is Joceline.
My chicken life has not started yet, I am getting 9 chicks mid April and will have my coop built by mid May. I live in Ste Marguerite du lac Masson, Quebec Canada and it is still winter here. I am doing a lot of reading about chickens and taking a one day course end of March. I have purchased all my supplies along with all my wood windows and this and that for my coop. A hardware store near me closed and I purchased all my coop supplies 60 to 80 % off so As soon as the snow is gone I will be getting started.

Hello Joceline :frow
Nice to meet you!
Good luck raising your new chicks and building your coop.
let us know how it goes! 🐣
That’s a lot of snow, we’ve been having a few snow storms every now and then here for the last month, there hasn’t been near as much as that though.
I can’t wait for the weather to get warmer.
