I’m worried that the farm shop might close now.. I’m going to try and buy a few weeks worth of chicken mash on Tuesday, Monday is a bank holiday.

They’re saying schools and colleges could be closed in Northern Ireland for 16 weeks, I’m probably going to have to do maths and English online now.

I've already bathed her feet, but even if i brushed it with the toothbrush, i couldn't remove any scale...I understood my error! i applied the oil only some days, but i have to apply it all days until resolution...! I'll do. I heard someone does it with mineral oil or sunflower seed oil... Do you know if it is a letal thing? I absolutely want to get rid of it, but i'd like to know if it is an emergency...

Yes, continue to apply petroleum jelly until you see improvement and the legs look much healthier and smoother. Then re-apply a week after you finish the first set of treatments

People use all sorts to treat scaly leg. Personally the oil didn’t work very well/quickly enough for me. It can work but it’s not great. I’d stick with washing the legs and applying the jelly for better and quicker results.

Well, have anymore hatched ?
I love that little white one!

Unfortunately it didn't all go to plan and one of the chicks died on day 18 of incubation, the other egg is due to hatch on Monday. The white chick is named Frances or Fran for short.

Frances. She/he (not sure) is 2 days old.

Florence (aka Flo) is the mother of Frances. She is 1 year old.

Freckle is the mother of Florence and the grandmother of Frances. She is 4 years old.

He’s a good birdie!

He’s turning out so nice already, I can’t part with him (at least not yet).

I live in woodland practically yet never use the background for photos
