Today is still chilly but everyone is looking good, my kids have been lying to me about taking care of them so yesterday I stood ordering like a drill Sargent, the Brahma that keeps escaping I scooped up and carried it cuddled in my arm and just kept giving orders... My kids couldn't believe it just layed there :gig I'm naming her Essie... For Escapee. She seemed to approve of my drill Sargent ways. :lau

So saved up enough and since California is doing better I'm getting my new incubator!!! Should be here next week, it's the same type @Brahmachicken240 has :) I'm excited!! If it works good I won't be buying chicks unless to bring new blood lines in. Yay!

Hope everyone is doing good and not too stircrazy!!

Thank you so much! I've been forcing the electrolytes down him and I think he's starting to improve! They have had access to sand and grit, hopefully it's large enough. Someone else suggested that I give him some yogurt to help with sour crop! He's complaining very loudly right now and jumping on top of his waterer, which I'm taking as a good sign, the below picture shows how he was an hour ago! I still don't think he's interested in his food or water, so I will give him more electrolytes in a bit! I mixed some of the yogurt into his mash with some of the electrolyte water! I'm starting to hope!

Good morning! :frow

Little Roo made it through the night! 💞 My husband went out first to check on him...I was afraid to...and he was sitting on top of his water bottle! He set him down and saw him pecking at his food! I gave him some mash and he ate a little of it! I left the screen off and he got up on the edge of the tote! So I put the screen back on and was hearing a weird noise, he was jumping up and hitting the screen cover...Now I'm hoping he didn't injure himself in doing so...silly chick! He's still not 100%, but I'm hoping he's over the hump and will make it! He's currently sleeping in my lap! I think my husband is working on a bigger hospital enclosure for him, I don't want to put him back out with the flock just yet! I will continue to give him Corid from a dropper for the next couple of days! Thank you so much everyone! 💞

Eating some mash!
