Agreed. It’s just rock dust. I could sprinkle flakes of diamonds on mites and it’s probably gonna be the same result - nada.

I've had good luck with it for lice and mites personally, not saying it works for everyone. I also didn't claim it worked for worming chickens, I've only put it in their food a handful of times. I use a different worming method. I was just stating that some people say it works, but I didn't think it was effective but thanks for the info.

Once again, I didn't claim in my original post that it worked as a wormer. I was stating that some people have claimed it works. I have only used it for my chickens in their food a handful of times and use a different worming method 2 times a year.
I was just claiming it personally works for preventing lice and mites. It may not work for you but it has for us. And we also use the horse and stable permethrin spray.
 
With the horrible wood price hike a couple months ago, I thought it best to purchase a prefabricated coop for my bantam chicks. I actually really liked it, but it definitely needs to be modified and that run is NOT adequate as they get older. I might buy one again one day for breeding my d'uccle pullets
