I use these outdoor plant hooks for my treat basket and my hanging feeders. I just moved mine - the ground under the feeder/basket becomes a slophole from the hens digging under the feed. Not too expensive, easy to move and sturdier than you expect. I will be getting a new set for the grow out pen. The ones in the main run are 4 years old.

First time chicken owner here from Massachusetts. I ordered 15 chicks of 10 different breeds from Meyer Hatchery. They hatched on August 28th, 2022. I heard too many horror stories about heat lamps and decided to try the heat plate. I had heat lamps on standby, just in case. But never needed the heat lamps, the heat plate worked beautifully. I bought the biggest size they had, which was bigger than I needed, even as they grew bigger.
