I highly recommend this Groundwork Pro Series Poly Dump Cart to transfer chicken poop to the garden. It has a little lever to pull and easily dumps out similar to a dump truck. The kids love it, too!

The humble 5 gallon bucket, can't manage without it! Or should I say Them, as I use several every day. Whether scooping poop under night roosts, picking up in the pens, taking random yard debris to fire pit, collecting bag worms, moving plants with root balls, using as a temporary planter, loading & carrying smaller scraps, pulling weeds, & they're food grade so I have a special one just for mixing up treats, chickweed, cabbage & greens for my flock, or the designated buckets I use for paint or tile work, the 5 gallon buckets are indispensable. They last a very long time, too.
