I sure hope so. The other 6 never started. Two see still wiggling so hoping the hatch asap so little one has some buddies. Its hard listening to him cry. I have him in the bathtub on a towel with a heat lamp and plate. Is that safe enough for his legs?Congrats! Hopefully more to follow soon![]()

I thought about carpet samples! I work for a flooring company so I have several options. Great idea! The towel was sliding around more than I would like. Other babies are still wiggling and I can hear them scratching around inside their eggs, no whistling though. Come on babies! As long as the towel isn't sliding around on the bottom of the tub, and it isn't made of fibers that will catch his nails, that should be good! I use indoor/outdoor carpeting or fake grass myself. If you have a carpet store nearby you can often get a remnant for a good price.
Yay!! Congratulations! Mine are on Day 41 and still wiggling.
Thanks! You are getting close! What temperature are you incubating at?Yay!! Congratulations! Mine are on Day 41 and still wiggling. My two “surprise eBay eggs” came this morning and they seem to be in great condition. They will be going in tonight before I go to bed

I’m incubating at 97.5 but the bottom of my incubator sits at about 97. I’m so excited but anxious. Thanks! You are getting close! What temperature are you incubating at?
One of the other eggs pipped overnight and the 3rd is still wiggling. @Pyxis have you ever assisted with the external pipping process? I know they say not too in the things you read online, but was wondering if you ever had made a safety hole?
