Preferences differ. I like it when photographs are more naturally.

It depends for me. Mainly on background. For a calender, I would want a picture that I want to look at. That may not be a beautiful egger in their coop. The chicken is pretty, the background is not. I would rather have a picture like the one I commented on.

A coop is not natural either. A chicken or a broody with chicks free ranging in the greens is. And this is (more) natural and sometimes beautiful. But can be hazardous .
