I find that overcast days are better with mine. If it's too hot they find a shady spot or cool dirt patch to lay in and don't do much.Let hope you and I have better luck soon
It is a challenge to take a photo of chickens..who would thought? We are having overcast weather these last 2 days so far, no sun so I can not take any photo.
Agreed, overcast conditions often provide better lighting for photography than bright sunny days. Backlighting can produce cool effects, but more often it just makes it harder to see the subject. It can also make it harder for auto focus to work fast enough for live animals. And with solid birds, especially white or black, it can make it night on impossible to capture any details.I find that overcast days are better with mine.
