21 weeks...Hen or Roo?

So here are my (hopefully) girls. They are the sweetest things ever and will lay down whenever I go to pet them. The only time they ever get fussy is if I don't feed them caterpillars for a couple days.

I am really hoping they are hens. Can you please help me. This is my first time owning chickens.

Well, if I can't find a new home for them I guess they will be renamed dinner

I think you may be OK with Hen Solo. She sits less erect and her comb and waddles aren't as developed. If she has a pretty calm temperament, I would vote hen.

In that colour pattern you would have already very clearly visible rooster saddle feathers on their backs at 21 weeks. I think you got hens that will start laying eggs soon.

Those are both pullets. They are close to starting to lay.
