Here there are today, behaving quite in brotherly fashion. They both have a few scabs from their sparring last week, but I checked and nothing serious. Dabbed a little iodine on them. Paco is more friendly and forward. I like my birds to get used to me handling them in case I ever have to treat them for something serious.

It's interesting that Paco emerged as the dominant. Lucio hatched almost two whole days earlier and is bigger and heavier. Must be a breed thing.

Both are male (I think) The black one is standing straight, like a cock does. And the buff one looks like a cock, too.

Well, my little flock has always been a mix of mostly barnyard mixes, even the Turkens I suspect are mixes, and no two chickens look much alike. Mine seem to pick their hang out buddies more by status, where they are in the pecking order.
