no eggs at 25 weeks -4 EEs, 5 BuffOrps, 1 RedStar, 1 PartridgeRock, 2 RedlacedBlueWyandott. and the other five who were laying have all but stopped!

Yep... I'd have thought the Redstars(sexlinks) would have both been laying by now. I had three. One flew the coop and landed in the dog's mouth. I wasn't really sure about any of the other breeds as far as how quickly they matured. I can say that I've had EEs and Redstars in the past and they were dependable layers. So far my older dominique has been the most dependable. I wish these younguns would get going!

same here. maybe they are just waiting for the coop to be finished. mine are about 22 weeks (1 silkie and 1 brahma).

A friend got an egg layer assorment from Mcmurray back in May. She gave my 5 year old a couple of red stars.
I'm figuring from the middle of May they are probably about 22/23 weeks.
Anyway, we got our first egg today!

I am looking for the other one to start laying at anytime.
After months of getting bantam eggs, I am ready for some large eggs
