Still no chicks here...just yet. Not even any peeping noises, but I remain optimistic.
I have one egg that seems to be pipping/zipping at this point. It (strangely enough) appears to be an egg that had a dimple crack, and hairline crack off of that - from jarring against one of the other eggs a couple of weeks ago...
I was not willing to just give up and throw it out, so I followed the advice on BYC, melted some candle wax and applied a modest layer to the cracked areas...now, although those cracks clearly look like they're widening and lengthening, there is no telltale bad odor emanating from the egg, so I'll watch (closely) and observe what develops with that one, and the other eggs as well.
It's very nice to be able to view the photos of the other newly hatched fuzzies, and I offer my hearty congratulations to all my "hatch buddies", on jobs well done!
