2nd Annual Rocky Mountain Chickenstock May 4, 2013

In the ones I am **trying to convince myself I have to sell* There is a group of 5 black chicks, with a mixture of furry legs, clean legs, poofy cheeks, smooth faced, 3 maybe 4 frizzled, 1 or 2 not, 1 has black skin and 5 toes like a silky. The Dad of all is a partridge sizzle (frizzled silkie), and the moms could be a Lav AM, Splash Leghorn.AM cross, Black true araucana, and possibly another Ameraucana, I can't recall what color it was in there in that pen....all have peacombs but 1 and all came from blue eggs. They are straight run though. Price, I think I will go $6 for the frizzled pea combs(2-3), and $5 for the smooth feathered pea combs(1-2) or frizzled straight comb (1). I am having a hard time wanting to sell them now that I have seen them lol they are the cutest things ever. Sorry I did not get pics up yet, it was a crazy day. I will try tomorrow, I really think I will keep one so I am taking my time posting them while I try to decide who wants to stay....I need another chick like a hole in the head. Goodness.
If you decide to sell the frizzles I would love one for a gift for my mom.

I have been awful dragging my feet to post pics of these, I really cannot decide. I wrote down your name though as the first person that asked okay in case I bring a couple. **I forgot a good friend wanted a chick last week and sold it to someone else and I feel awful!** So I wrote it down, I have an awful memory. I will see you there because I have your other chick, so just doublecheck with me when you get the other one from me ok? ;)

Ok... I took a chance and ordered a few extra Chickenstock shirts... Get them while they last!!! When these are gone, they are gone... I have

OK, Birdguy, I'll take a women's medium! I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to make it next weekend (waiting to see if I have to work) but if I can't make it, maybe I can have Lisa (La Casa de Pollo) pick it up for me? Lisa, if I asked pretty please...?

If I am able to make it, I'll be bringing a few bantam cochin bantam wyandotte mix babies that will be 2 weeks old, as well as a drop-dead gorgeous crele Wyandotte bantam rooster. He actually turns 1 on Chickenstock!

Sasha-- of course I will pick up whatever you need. :) I can take stuff too if you like, so far it is me and Red and maybe my son. It sounds like 3 boxes with birds going, so there is tons of room left in the car for birdies lol (and you if you want to jump in!) we had fun last year!

And lots of room for birds to take back with you, too... right??

Funny girl..I am tryiing REALLY hard not to think like that. I MUST come home with less than I take, that is the rule

I do really like that we have been able to post on here what we are selling and have stuff sold ahead of time. It helps a lot to plan what I am bringing back. So far for me two dozen quail eggs, possibly a few things from you Mesha :) Red is getting poults to bring back...and Sasha is getting a shirt....that is it so far, so YES room for chickens no problem. Lol :)

I am getting a box of McMurray chicks on Monday, including some NN turkens that will definitely be for chickenstock, I can only keep one or two. But they are newbies so will there be a place to plug in a lamp to keep them warm enough?

PM Shawn....

Am I holding a few SBEL's for you??

Yes Ma'am it looks like they are different stock than mine so I would love 4 please? You may want to check with Cyndiloohoo and Lilwanis on the Ut thread, they both have gotten them this year and had only boys...I was trying to hatch more for those guys but the hatch was not so great. RedIII is riding with me and lives by both of them in SLC so we have a chicken train if they want any of your babies.
