2nd batch of Pilgrim eggs.

    Well, the good news -- I have a successful egg -- just hatched.

    The bad news --another girl. I guess beggars can't be choosers.

    I have 3 more eggs working on it. One is the one I opened the top on a few days ago - its still alive and growing, despite the fact it has a hole a little larger than a quarter in the top, which has been covered with blue tape for the past 3-4 days.

    I hope I can get a couple more to hatch successfully, and that I will get a boy.

    This is the new baby. Not much to look at yet. They remind me of a crumpled wrinkled cotton shirt that needs to be ironed:

    Cute baby! Take the tape off the other egg, the baby should be hatching age and you don't want it trying to externally pip underneath tape.
    (if I am correct... these are on Day 30 or 31?)
