2nd try :) might still be too young

Yes, I do bathe my chickens if they need it. Dust bathing does not fix everything.:)
Cute. I also live in California but about an hour south from you guys. All my family is in LA though. Glad you guys are taking care of him. Especially if he’s a roo. Hope to see more agility videos of him as well. I also do dog sports and with that I do the breed does matter. Not sure on chicken agility but I hope your little guy goes far. I really enjoyed his baby video you made!

Quick question, your friend that has an indoor rooster, does it wear diapers and if so how does he tolerate wearing them? I ask because my big chicks poop huge! I couldn’t image a full grown chick. Just wondering in case I ever end up bringing one of mine in side to hangout. They would need a bath first though.

Side questions...Anyone give their chickens a bath? I gave them one when they were little chicks. Not since they got older and I have one that really stinks!

The cemetery workers thought it might be some religious thing but I googled and since they said it was a Korean family I also contacted my Korean friend who checked w her mom and no ones heard of anything like that. However in Santeria and voodoo there is a renewal thing where you sacrifice the mother of a young animal and present the baby to the person on the other side/ I didn’t read it all as it was kinda creepy.all we know for sure is that the cemetery was clean freshly mowed and after the people left feathers everywhere ( hard to clean up) and a chick in a bag
Koreans are almost entirely not religious, fyi. (I'm of Korean descent). Are you sure the worker wasn't guessing on nationality?

I kinda knew it was a kill-mom-present-baby thing right from the getgo. The white feathers, being adult plumage, led me in that direction. Some people are disgusting. How would they like if someone killed their mom and left them to die as an infant?!
Sacrificing adult animals, I get. But who, in their sane mind, kills a BABIES mom and abandons the baby?!

Makes me wonder, then, if mom was actually a white Rock. Much more likely to go broody and something tells me that these people don't use incubators.

I think they may have been guessing at nationality- they sounded confident but as Mexican can be confused with guatmalan or Puerto Rican etc they could be very confused- plus as you said few Koreans do rituals like that- not any other again Asian race either. I kept researching but only found Santeria- very strange indeed but the chick lives on!

Today I added a lady for the chick - named her big momma hazel. Got her from animal shelter. She will live in the bachelor pad til I introduce her to the 2 smaller bird then she’ll move when chicken little moves in

I'll go see if I can take a picture. it's raining but I'll do the best I can.
TY for the help!
