3 day old chicks with white dust on their backs

Thank you for your suggestion! That seems like a tough problem to have as a 3 day old!!!

I will see if I have some tape like that

4 of the 8 are mine and 4 belong to a friend who will be home on Sunday. I don’t want anything to happen to whatever 4 are my me or hers!!

So nice to have Perry ole to reach out to at 11:30 pm sitting here alone trying to decide if I can go to bed!!!

I can understand ur worry u sound like me when I have my chicks
Its normal ..and u r able to see that dust just cause of their brown color ..

Good to know! I was thinking about this thread the other day, but couldn't find it
I have chicks right now and they had tromped, scratched and flung their mash all over themselves - reminded me of your chicks having "stuff" on them

I am happy to know that other chicks do this. I thought mine were "special"...
