3 duckling pipped

So the pipped ducklings didn’t make it unfortunately but the hatched duckling seems to be doing okay. I have her in a tub under a heating lamp. I was thinking about waiting until around 8:30 tonight when she’s 24 hrs old to maybe slip it in with the others. Thoughts?

I think that's what I'd do, but I'm a bit worried about what will happen early in the morning when the duck is likely to notice. If you do that, be sure to wake up early tomorrow to check on her. Maybe others have better suggestions. I've gotten a duck to adopt four ducklings a week younger than her own before and I didn't have to do anything special, but not all ducks will readily adopt anything.
