3 month old Bantam, what gender?

A lower ranking cockerel will not crow in the presence of an Alpha because it would be beaten up. If one is aggressive, to people, it shouldn't be in the running at all.

It's interesting though because the one in question seems to be the Alpha. My confirmed cockerel is very sweet and more submissive.

Both cockerels. First is a mix, probably D'uccle and Polish, as was mentioned. The second looks like a Golden Laced Sebright mix. I say that because the comb doesn't have spike, the legs look to have yellow. Also, sebrights are supposed to have hen tails, meaning the tail does not have specific male feathers. he has a traditional male tail, with male feathering.

Thanks everyone! Just curious, what features make you think that the dark brown one is a cockerel?. Just so I can look out for those features in my other ones

I think the dark one is a cockerel because of the shape of the hackle feathers. Otherwise, I would say it was a pullet. You really can't tell by the comb unless it is really big and red, or if you have a number of chickens the same age and breed where you can compare them. I actually think the jury is still out on that one being a cockerel. The first one definitely has male saddle feathers.
