When you know how many eggs you are setting you fill out the form. I know I won't be posting on the form until the last minute. I have my home made incubator that I need to fill and will be trying to gather eggs from everyplace that I know. I now have 6 turners in there that hold 41 eggs each.

I have a three turner Inubator that holds 6 doz eggs on ea turnerLOL I almost have one of the turners full now with
Standard Cochin, Cuckoo Maran, BBS Orpington, MF Cochins and a few of my own barnyard mix

It's ok. I've had an entire 24 hours without poultry carnage. The state of my mental health is back to baseline (although baseline was nothing to be proud of).

Boyfriend will be home tomorrow morning. I told him today about the ducks and Jerk Chicken, but I didn't tell him about Wry Tail. Hopefully he'll be home in time to do it tomorrow before his shift.

Things were better for me today to, if we consider the baseline.

Today, I didn't sit in any puke.

You have to wonder why Home & Garden hasn't been by yet if you're measuring days based upon whether you contacted someone elses bodily excretion or not. I think I'll fire off an email now demanding to know when you'll be featured.

I am sorry, SCG. Am I grossing you out? I can stop.

Really, I can stop. Anytime I want.

You'll have to try waaay harder than that to gross me out. I recently watched a video on changing a colostomy device during lunch.

Go ahead, ask me about the different types of wafers, wipes and bags. I dare you. I have an iron stomach. The only thing I can't take is needles. So, naturally, I'm in charge of an IV room. Actually I'm ok with needles. It's needles that are in the process of going into the body that make me all kinds of queasy.

I do hope both of you have Wonderful Wednesdays, with no barf, no death and no cold chills in your pajamas.

What do you mean we have to wait 53 days to see cute baby chicks??

My Monday was horrid. No more comments... trying to forget.

Today, my afternoon cancelled so I climbed to the top of Camelback. I'm getting old. It took me 47 minutes to the top (42 down)

went to church choir practice. I sing base in one choir and tenor in another... fun.

Getting my 2nd roo back tomorrow... I've really got to keep them locked up if either starts to crow. Both are smaller than most hens so I doubt I'll be getting fertile eggs anytime soon.. but today I did get 8 eggs and 4 of them were a pretty blue so my 7 girls are starting to lay again after the molt. I also I have two 12 week olds I'll be adding to the coop in a couple more weeks.
