Denny is a sweetheart! I just love her although I haven't seen her in months. She's a lot of fun. She spends the time to study and she has her own additives she gives all her birds for fertility. Matter of fact I think I need to talk to her about all she does. I lost a brooder full of chicks that had Cuckoo and Golden Cuckoo Marans from her and some FBCMs that came from eggs I won at the Stockton show last year to a cat. I was having a terrible time with my hatches and I tell you, those Cuckoo eggs were very fertile. Another time though I got shipped eggs from her and the PO was so rough, they broke several. You should have seen the box. Looked like they ran over it. Not kidding. But she sells a lot of eggs online and her turkeys are fantastic from what I've heard. If I had the space I'd get some of her fancy ones just to have them. I still have my one surviving Cuckoo from her. She did lose and eye and her head is mishapped now, but what a strong little bird to survive what she went through.
I think I need to get hold of Denny too!

Just told my daughter that we can't set eggs until spring. Then she saw this contest. Guess we will be trying our first winter hatch!

I had 3 bantam cuckoo Marans hatch today....yeah ! A Thanksgiving hatch !
I'm in! don't know how many i will have to set, but this will sure be fun!
