Here's what happened to Miss Puffles, cause I know you're wondering. Last week she was attacked by a raccoon and suffered what i can only describe as a concussion. She was almost better today until I left the door to her cage open and she was attacked by one of the other hens. The fight must have re-injured her neck, because she lost the ability to stand, yet again. I do partially blame her, cause she started the fight.

She is doing much better now, though and can stand up on her own again.

She is on my bed in a basket with a blanket to sleep on and the heater on so that my room is warm. She's totally and in no way spoiled, I swear!

It's not really a "Holiday", but in lieu of something better, aren't most State Fairs in August? Don't think anyone will cry "Fowl Foul".
