Sweet, it took her almost a year but for the past couple weeks I have been getting small to medium sized blue/green eggs from her. Any thoughts on how I can get her tail feathers back to ship shape before Chickenstock? Right now you can tell the others have not been nice to her over the winter, she stands up for herself now and I have even seen her take on the Turken(she is my biggest hen) a time or two.

Yes mine looked AWFUL but thank goodness she had a great molt and her feathers look super nice now...the frizzle feathers really seem to be brittle and break so easily! No Idea how to get her back in shape, seems like broken feathers stay broken, but if they fall out completely then they can re-grow. I know protein helps with regrowth, so maybe you could try giving her some high protein snacks? I bought some feed at CAL called feather-fixer, it has mite control as well, it was $18 for 40 lbs so pricey but gave the girls a few bags during their awful molt, maybe that would help? Or you could just feed that one individual bird some meaty snacks here and there, or scrambled eggs...

Yep they sell it. Now if I can just wear blinders...it is still chick days at D&B and I just can't refuse those cute baby chicks.

Weeeeell I swore no feedstore chicks this year, I have made 3 trips to Cal ranch since they have gotten chicks, for the only purpose of getting feed and other things, and I have now gotten 11 chicks from them. I have NO self control. I imagine Chickenstock will land me in the same plight :/
