I have 4 cayuga Drakes in need of a new home/s, ideally looking for someone who would breed them. They are all about 4 months old. Can send/post photos upon request.

Hi! I came here looking for a Cayuga drake to breed and whaddaya know! I have a flock that I would like to expand as I have moved to a larger piece of property.

I would love to see pics and any breeder/hatchery info. :)

Thanks. - Raquel

Hi Raquel!
I’m glad you found my post! Here are some photos of the boys (and our girls who like to all hang out together). The boys are about 4 months old (born in July) and are the babies of her moms partners ducks. We are unsure as to the origins of the parents, they were given as a gift (so unsure if they were siblings or not) and the 6 babies are their first clutch. We let Peppy (the mama) raise and hatch them and after they hatched we brought them inside and cared for them by hand. Since being outside they’ve gotten a bit more timid but don’t mind being around people, are okay with tools and are okay with being picked up but will try their hardest to avoid it 😂. Let me know if you’re interested in any of them. Also I’m advertising 4 drakes but I only have 3 of them, one of the girls is greener than the other 2 but ended not being male.

Oh they are so beautiful!! I love seeing a yellow bill on these guys pop up. Unfortunately, I am breeding solely for the black bill. 😥 Thanks for sharing your pics, I wish you the very best of luck in finding them homes. ❤️
