My little Easter Egger seems to be having some butt issues. I just got them in yesterday and they are in the brooder. They have chick feed and water with ACV. She is eating and drinking and running around just fine with the other chicks...except...

She seems to be having some pooping issues. It's not "caked" over her bottom, but kinda not coming out all the way. I did dip her in some warm water and removed any of the extra poop. However while doing that I noticed a little blood and the vent looked a little puffed out on the bottom.

I've never dealt with pasty butt or a prolapse before and am not sure if chicks this little get prolapses or not or if this is just normal issues that they can have right after shipment/hatching.

I think sometimes their butt dosnt work right.
Many are clean from the start, others get pasted shut butts.

You know the less you have to touch their butt the better.
They are so delicate that infection or soreness can happen just from cleaning their butt.
And they still have that Umbilical area from being hatched that is best not to mess with..
