I had a few of these last year and not all the girls had luxurious poms. But they were all round. I think the hackle feathers were more of an indication. I’m no silkie expert though!

That’s good to know actually! She can just be the jealous sister- or actually probably better off bc she will be able to see. Lol

I have to trim the white ones crest regularly so she can see. Or she dunks her head in the water dish lol

yep. They all 3 crammed in the nest box to mother the chicks that the buff Cochin hatched out.
