41 degrees at 8:00 this morning. It's August!

I'd love it! And I was raised my whole life in Ga. (then spent 20 yrs away in in the west and midwest) Now, I just can't handle the heat and humidity and I live at 2000 ft in the mountains! The leaves are already changing here and it's still close to 90 every day.

We're expecting more extreme heat in the next couple of days

Haven't had a good rain in almost a month now..... guess I should start a cactus farm

81 here right now, rain off and on overnight, what a relief. First rain we have seen in four or five months, and the temps have been in the 100's. Chance of isolated Thunder storms today. Hope the others see some relief soon.

Come on Fall!! Maybe the hens will start laying better, and harder shelled eggs.

Fall blew in last Friday around here. It was hot and muggy, then a big storm blew over, and the next day it was crisp and cool.

I'm sure we'll have plenty of more hot days, but Fall is definitely on its way.
