4th Annual BYC NYD Hatch-a-long

Gads I cant keep up with anything and I fear there is not enough hours in the day to keep up with this swap... I ended up setting 36 eggs yesterday, I had 38 in the turner but then noticed two had slight cracks and figured better safe than sorry and pulled them. I will have to edit to add the picture, have to get from my phone to my computer

and since the world didn't end today I am excited to see these babies hatch....in a funny note I did have chicks hatching today and even had one right around noon so I have a 12/12/12/12/12 baby

in just a few hours 87 posts.. WHAT

I know! I try to pop into BYC quite frequently but I can look away for 10 minutes and there's 20 posts sometimes. lol

My eggers are doing well I think...can't wait to candle them this Saturday. The bator is doing well at holding temp and humidity...which shocks me in this nasty weather. I keep opening the back door and they're in that room (doh, I know), but the bator is still behaving (knock on wood).

Ha Ha you guys crack me up.I love been here with you all. The other night i was in bed catching up ran across a post that was so funny(cant remember what) i was trying my best not to laugh to wake my DH.I am laughing so hard im shaking the bed.My hubby wakes up jumps out of bed with a paniced (ms) look on his face,he thinks theirs something wrong with me. Bless his heart. (pretty funny though)

I can imagine them trying to run past you. Ours have taken to roosting in the feed side of our buck barn, when I open the door in the morning the little viking horde just rushes out.

I'm to lazy this evening to post pictures of ours, but if anyone is interested there is a slideshow here : http://mymooseandsquirrel.com/icelandicchicken.html the video can act funny, someday I'll convert it to vimeo, its on the to do list.

I was able to see some of the slideshow - Your Icelandics are beautiful and your SFH are equally as beautiful. They look very happy and content.
