I meant to post this several days ago, but just didn't get around to it. I candled my duck eggs and through out one...sooooo I just happened to be looking through the fridge see, and I saw a lovely, big, duck egg that was in the fridge. SO I just slipped it into my pocket and somehow it ended up in the incubator?? WEIRD, right?

I marked it so I could be sure and tell it apart from the rest of the eggies. It was refridgerated for a day 1/2, I think. I hope it hatches, if it does this may be one of the ducklings I keep. *evil grin*








Does this count for egg art? LOL

Cute egg lol. Last year I wanted to hatch some ducks, but didn't have any eggs at the time except some that had been in the fridge for at least 2 weeks. I took 4 of them and stuck them in the incubator, just to try and hatched out 4 baby ducks.

Well seems my wonderful Chiweenie was passing the incubator at same time I came by and let one of his wonderful dogie farts! I went back in the room and was like "why no smell now?"..

Anyways here is the gas machine himself!

Very cute, and does not look happy one bit, lol. Maybe he was paying you back for the hat pic.

I was looking through my photos tonight and I found a picture of Jane! I know its terrible but I remember taking this photo. She was getting all in my face (she jumped on me, on a muddy night, getting all my clothes ruined, bad Jane, but i laugh about it now.). She wouldnt get off my so I thought I would take a photo, as soon as pressed the button to take a pic., she looks like a mad ghost. lol

I am probably going to get a young trio or quad, it depends what he has. I am getting them from xlboergoat (he isn't on here often) and from what I understand his are very nice. He lives 6 hours from me but is going to be at a show that is only 2 hours away. I'm very excited!

I have some eggs that I think may be weeping, but am not sure. I always assumed weeping was wet seepage coming from the egg. I have more than one egg with what looked like wet beading on the shell,when I took them out of the bator, they pass the sniff test and the 'beading' was white and hard, more like calcification. Any input will be welcome.

Mine are yellowish.... this is a pic and the candle of that egg at day 3

Thank you. : ) How much fun!! I candled all my duck eggs tonight, and the duck egg that was in the fridge is GROWING!!! YEAH! On the 28 duck eggs I set a week or so after the NYD eggs, all of them but many two are growing. SWEET!

Yes, I will be selling duck eggs this spring. My ducks are laying good right now, so if anybody wants eggs PM me. I'm having excellent fertility!

I wont be able to get any eggs until spring. We have no place for them right now (before buying any animal we always have the proper place for them and a place to buy feed.

but i will PM you when I should want to buy some!
