Yes all the contests are over but the Holiday Picture Contest has not had a winner!
Folks that took the time to make a nice picture and entered it, that was promised a poll vote and now have waited 25 days to know who won, has the right to be a bit miffed!

I am not sure if that is the only contest not finished?

Well my chicks showed up yesterday morning and there were only 4 DOA, I have 51 very active and healthy chicks! I'll have to post pictures later, they are adorable. There is a really good assortment of colors too. I was so worried with temperatures below 0, but everything worked out great. Those 4 chicks could have died from anything such as simply being too weak or getting smothered.

I'm glad most of them were ok! It's always sad to see any DOA though

where is everyone at besides the swap thread? I dont follow that. I know a few of ya are with us in the diary incubating thread but where did everyone else go? back to work

Well, I guess this thread is dying. We certainly became quite a group though, eh? You know, you were so energetic and fun, have you thought of volunteering for the Easter hatch? I'll be coming 'round to watch the fun, but unfortunately, I will be out of town around then, so I won't be able to join in on the fun

The problem was that I had no hard drive in my computer. So for me to complete the contest was not happening. I don't exactly promise. I had no computer and just got my data plan started back up on my phone today. I have just gone back to work after being off for more then 10 weeks. Day starts at 445 am come home tend to chickens, 3 dogs who were used to me being home, 2 cats and than dinner by the time I'm done with all that, I'm tired. I have a physical job and had to ease into it and it was kicking my butt. I will set up the poll tonight when I get home and do my chores. I have a lot to catch up on. So just take a deep breath, it has only been 21 days not 25. My hard drive crashed on the 3rd. Hi Sally missed ya

*sigh* Well, Ms, most appreciate your efforts and are greatful for all of the hard wok of contests, prizes, etc. Could've just as easily dropped the contest and prize altogether.

Had no way to get online. So now I am and there would have been no reason to cancel the contest. Plus when the hard drive goes it goes.
