My eggs arrived!!
Nice packaging! I took notes so if I ever send eggs I will know proper packaging. I will candle them later to make sure they do not have cracks, however they all look perfect!!
Thank you so much Mr. Heinz !!
I had two BYC's over here when they were delivered. They were also impressed. If the surprise egg turns out to be a cockerel one has already called dibs!!
I will pray it is a pullet. I need to do some investigation on the breed. I know nothing about this breed.
I am getting pretty excited about this hatch along.

Quote: I have the OvaScope and both the regular OvaView and the High Intensity OvaView. The OvaScope is handy when I have children that want to see the eggs, but I can see much better in a dark room with the candler in my hand. Could be partly because the OvaScope is not exactly glasses friendly. It came as part of the package I bought. I wouldn't spend the extra money on it.

There is not a great deal of difference between the High Intensity and the regular OvaViews. I can see a little better with it, but I really wish I would have put the money toward a 220 lumens or better flashlight. So, I guess what I am saying is, unless you have a little too much money burning a hole in your pocket, invest in a good quality, high lumen flashlight instead.

:woot:
Did I have splash written on the mystery egg? I am so pleased that you got them in good condition.

Good luck on your hatch.

I have babies hatching
wee.gif

1 Araucana out and drying
1 RC RIR pip and chipping away
1 OE (mine pipped)
I have way too many staggered hatches going on.
On another note I candled my d'uccle eggs, and it seems like the 2 Marans/d'Uccle eggs both have blood rings, could that be because the genes aren't compatible? They were fresh, and warm when I collected and set them so they never sat around.
