Went to find the cause, found it, apparently my foot warmer Smudge is an overachiving Broody-cat



So will the eggs be ok?? not sure how long the spike lastered, some mins to an hr...

You need to send the cat to the person who is having to wrap the incubator in a blanket. If it was a short time they should be ok, takes an hour for the temps to change in the egg or more iirc.

I hope my eggs are okay. This morning I went to go check on the eggs and the temp was at 104. I set it a few degrees lower so hopefully it adjusts. I think it was because we have had a lot of temp fluctuations outside lately. I don't think they where at that temp. for long though.
