I also have cochins and they go broody all the time! I bet each of them go broody at least twice a year. This spring, I had 20 nesting boxes in the coop for my 26 hens. And every nesting box containted a broody hen, some contained 2.  I think there was only 2 hens that weren't broody at the time.  They drive me nuts sometimes.

Mine just won't do it yet! I guess I am pretty lucky though, my Cochins laid everyday. Sadly I lost three to a coon, sold one, and one died I will hope this spring my remaining get broody!

Sorry, but I'm a bit confused. So we search for you on threads, when we find you we post it that thread as well as on bheps thread, correct? The person who finds you the most wins? But's whats going on with the whole 1000 post thing? And are we suppose to post about every thread we checked and didn't find you? Thanks!
