Why on earth would you eat an adorable Emu?? I want one as a house pet......no there is nothing the matter with me, honest. Okay, having one outside would be fun to, but not as fun.they are ready to eat around 1 1/2 yrs old. I think most people have them as pets on here. From what Ive read, they are like a giant chicken and can be "birdbrained", storming though fences if they get spooked.

Thank'e. She is a sweety. I fear she is going to hate me in the morning, as I'm taking her 5 cute ducklings to their new home. *sniffles*Those are some adorable ducklings! Love the broody momma too.

I probably couldn't even handle a chicken in the house. I love them to death, but I can't imagine cleaning up after them indoors. I can keep dreaming though, right? hahaha.House pet?!? Have yall seen the claws on them suckers?
