I had a very busy week gettin gwork done on the house and come back to over 1500 new post! Wow everyone has been chatty!
You are very welcome. I remember finding them when I was incubating my very first batch of chicks and was amazed at the changes the embryo goes through to become a chick. These pictures you are posting are amazing. I have hatched a long time, never knew when the beak started. Thank you.![]()
Quote: They may not explode, but they will leak a lot of rotten goo into the Bator!
Carefully Please! Put them into zip lock bags and get them out of the house!

Sorry to hear about your duck. Hopefully the egg will hatch.Well. I finally gave the duck hen a better look, and her vent WASN'T alright. That egg sitting in my flat is almost definitely the culprit. It doesn't have blood on it, but her vent was inside out, though only minimally. Considering that she was in good health (besides being dead), I have to assume that this little egg did her in. I'll be setting it myself, to give it the best chance at life. Now I feel bad. I was upset that the girls were giving me a strike. She gave her egg but died in the process of fullfilling my request.![]()
