4th Annual BYC NYD Hatch-a-long

I banged the pan, my DH had the car alarms going off, and their are fireworks still going off..man, big ones! So, wasn't sure I would make it this late this year..I'm getting too old for this...........Nah!

GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU THAT ARE STILL WAITING..TOMORROW IS NEW YEARS DAY..IT WILL HAPPEN...I STILL HAVE THREE DAYS TO WAIT!

8 buttons hatched yesterday
1 cot hatched yesterday
1 button hatched today
My serama eggs, one pipped this morning , one pipped this afternoon , one pipped this evening and one pipped just now still one serama and one cot egg doing nothing.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!
This has been so much fun!
Even as I lay in the hospital last week, I kept thinking, what am I missing? Wish I had my computer!

Tonight was really exciting. The chicks are so cute! It was so neat that our first three chicks were all from our farm.
I hope the shipped eggs start to pip and hatch. So far, not looking so good.

Congrats to all the winners! GREAT JOB!

Off to bed, chore time comes early!

Stephanie,
I am sorry you were in the hospital last week
I sure hope you are feeling better and as recovered as you can be.
Happy New Year to you and yours!

Gonna snuggle up on the couch with my bestest puppy dog and warm cuddly jammies, slippers, and a blankie, with my kids snoring next to me... Switching from the computer to my iPad... I'll keep checking in when I wake up to check the bator! (don't dare go up to my room... If chicks start hatching and creeping, the cats might go after the bator!)

I think I am done checking for the night. I have a few pips but they take at least 5 hours.

I'm still waiting on mine. Seems they all either hatched early or are waiting to ensure I never won the first chick out, lol. Sneaky little fuzzies! But, so far I do have a duckling and eight coturnix, so I'm happy! No worst hatch rate fo momma mia here. :)
