5 week old white rock with open wound on back of neck

I'm not sure how she got it, but I quarantined her when I saw it yesterday morning. The problem is she is scratching at it with her claws and making it worse. I cleaned it and applied antibiotic ointment this morning, but I think it just aggravated her more because she has broken it open again. I'll try and post a picture later, but any advice on keeping her from hurting herself further so she can heal would be appreciated. Thanx

Is the injury in a place where you can loosely wrap gauze around the neck, then vet wrap over that? Emphasize LOOSELY!

What about a small strip of clothe just to break the scrathing with some antibiotic ointment under I mean I do not do it but I have seen some fun pics with like bandanas on their chicks . maybe you could do a little one so when she scratches she cant really hit her skin ? Just a crazy thought
