I am by no means an expert, but that comb and those waddles are awfully red for 5 weeks old. I'd say cockerel. Wait and see what some other more experience folks say...

What makes you say that? I'm just curious, because I have a BLRW that is almost 8 weeks that isn't at all that developed. Just trying to learn

I've sexed a lot of wyandottes on here....I know they can redden up early.
But males often have wide combs, often feather slower, and have patchy colors.
