It doesn't even say if they are gold or silver, but this person wants $50 bucks for a drake and female Welsh Harlequin..

Seeing as how I have 16 of them coming in a week or two. I see a lot of money in my future by selling off their offspring!~

I've noticed a lot of people asking outrageous amounts. I've been seeing ads for the past while for a oeg red junglefowl cross rooster. He was asking 80$ for it. I'd love to get that much for pretty mutt birds! Oh, or there's this woman who has been asking like 10$ for day old silkies, Cochins, polish, etc. She was definitely trying to market toward newbies I believe. I emailed her asking if they were from show lines, and she never replied. Lol. I'm just curious if any of these people are actually getting any business.

The welsh harlequins are worth whatever someone is willing to pay for them.

Being able to see their current environment, meet the owner (and possible source of information), and avoid the stress and cost of shipping ducklings or adults seems worth it to me.

Actually, I was looking for a pair of these last fall and would've gladly paid $50 for a healthy pair of young adults. I searched here, CL, other websites, etc and couldn't find anyone in my area. As it is, I ordered some WH ducklings from Holderreads (coming next week, I hope!) because noone in my area had any for sale.

Just offering another opinion, for what it's worth.

Someone near me selling Muscovy ducks for 25$ each, I've seen them as high as 35$. It's not that uncommon apparently. I prefer raising but if I were to buy adult WH...I think 50$ would be worth it for the pair considering the beauty and prolific egg laying.
**Once they become adults**, I think they're pretty low maintenance too...

I sell Rouen pairs for $35-$40 and they are a common breed, $50 for Welsh Harlequins isn't bad at all IMO

Just depends where you live Also supply and demand. that price isnt outragous though to be sure.
