I bought her from the local feed store and they purchase from a hatchery. ( I don't know which one) she has the cutest fluffy cheeks!Maybe but you could get lucky and actually get one. Was it from a feed store? Are they from a local breeder or a hatchery?
Good point. For those that had not raised newly hatched chicks, after a couple days stick their beaks in the water and make sure they drink, know what water is and where it is.
You can probably find the leak in an egg like that by running it under 120 degree water briefly. That's enough to expand the contents and open the crack.
Bummer about the truck. Sorry!![]()
I hope so! Blue or green would be perfect. But I'm not picky, she is super cute and has served her purpose already! I'm down to 7 marans eggs and 3 grocery store eggs. 10 out of 50! But hey, if I get 10 to actually hatch, I will be very happy!Blue Eggs in your future?
I could understand if they were shipped, but if you go in person you should be able to choose! I had a really hard time only buying one! Here you have to buy a minimum of 6 chicks.
