Congrats this is like my 5th hatch I think not really sure. Most wasn't good rates and some was just trials with random eggs from people around me before my girls started laying. I'm mainly wanting my golden cukoo maran eggs to hatch so I can try sexing them since I have a blue amer roo over them. All other ee's will be craigslisted I think since I don't have room really.

mine are full size EE hen/Bantam cochin roo sooooo its a mystery on how they will look ..hoping for feathered feet

and no roo's lol but my hubby said because im hatching tgem they will have no heads and 2 butts and 4 leggs lol

So he is going for the KFC chicken look. 4 legs no head no feathers double breast and 6 wings.

No pips for us yet. Though I am pretty sure they are wiggling. I will certainly be amazed if these little ones hatch given their journey across country during an ice storm.

Congrats to everyone who had pips, zips and hatches yesterday and much lucky chick dust to everyone today.

I just pulled 2 more. I'm down to 38 of 47.
I set 3 consecutive days and the first aren't due for 1 1/2 days.

I'm so sad. My bator pulled a last minute temp spike. Killed one of my pipped chicks, and an OE too Poor little thing was perfect, ready to go, probably would have been hatched in a few more hours. The other pipped chick is okay but now I'm worried about all the other eggs.

Man i cant wait to get home. Working while ya'll get chicks is the poopies. Lol at least ron gave me some eggs to watch. Wife thinks an oe piped but not sure lol.

Gosh, that's gotta suck. I'm one of those lucky few wives who get to be a stay at home mom. So I get to stare at my eggs (that are just sitting there lookin egg like) all day long

My hatch is done. Had the three hatch that were pipped today. Checked the other three..they didn't make it. Looks like the first one I looked at died on the first day of lock down, smelled like it too. :/ I had two Rhodebars hatch before DH and I left for a while, thought the marans would still be working on it when I got home, but she/he was out. Very pretty blue. I think I have one girl and one boy Rhodebar. The yellow one is a wonder to me. Doesn't look like what I thought the boys would look like. These were put in a bator by themselves..so, I know they are all Rhodebars, and then a few marans were sent. One Marans made it to lockdown and hatched.


My happy dance... Click on them, they will dance again.

Well, I thought I was going to have New Years Eve babies, they decided to come early! Starting to walk around already!

They are so CUTE!!!!

Woot I heard a peep but I don't see anything yet wish I had my speakers on the computer still so I could play some little chick noises for them again this time.

Edit: put my gamming headphones on top of the bator with ear pieces turned to the top and I can hear it 2 feet away so they should hear it inside just hope not too loud.

that will be my luck too...all 7 will be roos. Heck, that's what happened last year almost...out of 6 babies I got from the feed store, 4 were roos.

I AM GRATEFUL! I Have Pips!! One BCM...wrong side pipper(wouldn't it figure) & one Barred Holland! I guess my nieces and nephew will get to see chicks hatch after all! God is Good!
