I have nothing to report, just wanted to pop in just in case anyone was wondering.

None of the three that pipped have zipped, or even widened their pip.

No new pips.

Praying I see some zipping before bed tonight...

if you did look I would be fast.....

She won't let me be fast...very protective.

My concern will be tomorrow night, Tonight's lows 50, tomorrow night's 28.

Just in case no one knew...I have the patience of a saint. Except when it's eggs.

When did yours pip, and what time??

Sometime early this morning, I checked on them at 8:00am and 2 had pips ( I'm in Southern California, so it is 3;40 pm now) I'm waiting on 3 Trader Joes eggs and 6 blue marans

I am going to buy me a new incubator after this! I think it really had to do with my incubator and thermometer why only 2 out of 7 lived to lock down and only 1 lived to hatch. I have 4 more due tomorrow at the latest, I am not holding hope for them either.

Under $500 and with a turner what would you guys suggest? I was looking at a Brinsea.... but am to new to know for sure. Suggestions??

Well all but three that made it to lock down have hatched. One of the eggs has been pipped but nothing since. The other two nothing. One of the two I had upside down some how during part of the incubation like day 7-10 I think.

So 23 chicks so far. Started with 35 eggs so....65.7% hatch rate so far counting my clears and blood rings and quitters. 88% for the lock down eggs.
