6.7 week old rooster crowing already?!

I have raised 1 female and 1 male chicken together and they’re now 6.7 weeks old. I can’t find anything online suggesting why the male is crowing already, it says they normally do this from 4/5 months or sometimes later. I was wondering if anyone would know why this is happening so young? Thank you

I have a buff orpington that started a few days ago, 9 weeks. Less than 7 seems a bit young. Must be mature for his age.

I've had male, & female chicks crow at 3-4 weeks of age. It's not completely unusual.

It happens. It is earlier than 'average' but most of mine have crowed before 4 months. They take quite some time to get good at it!
